Description
The roots of the wild licorice fern are incredibly potent, with a strong licorice flavour that is most commonly used in teas and hot beverages, caramelized and added to soups, and an ingredient for homemade root beer. Containing glycyrrhizin, licorice root boasts anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting properties, as well as relief from upset stomach and heartburn.
